Custom full colour lanyards are the credential the attendee wears all day - not a disposable ticket. Dye-sublimation print wraps the polyester tape with logos, staff titles or event branding, then you choose clips and a safety breakaway to match the venue.

This is the product you want when the neck credential is part of the brand: a conference, a workplace ID program, a festival media/crew pass that has to look finished next to a woven VIP wristband. It is not a same-day title lanyard. Those live on the in-stock Staff, Visitor, VIP and Security SKUs.

The usual Australian split is in-stock titles from 10 units when the meeting is this week, and this custom full-colour line from 50 units when the logo has to be right. That is how offices cover a last-minute conference and a branded reprint in the same month without pretending one product does both jobs.

Custom tape is polyester, printed in full colour, typically with a safety breakaway and a clip suited to plastic cards or badges. Exact width, length and hardware are selected on the product form. If you need a card as well, we also make printed plastic ID cards that sit on the same lanyard.

Custom full colour versus in-stock titles

In-stock printed titles - Staff, Visitor, Contractor, VIP, Security - are ready type on a standard tape. Minimum 10, same-day dispatch if you order before 3pm AEST. Use them when the word on the lanyard matters more than your logo.

This full-colour custom product is for your artwork on the tape. Minimum 50, typically 7–10 days. Use it when the brand, event name or sponsor lockup has to wrap the lanyard, not sit as a generic title.

Rainbow and some other ready styles can also leave the same day. Do not put a photographic logo brief on an in-stock title SKU and expect a custom proof. You are on the right page for that brief.

Print, clips and recycled tape

Dye sublimation is how this full-colour line gets photographic colour into the tape. Other custom lanyards in the range use screen print or heat transfer depending on the design and quantity. We will confirm the process on the proof if your file is better suited to another method.

Choose hardware for the venue: a round clip or lobster claw for plastic cards, a retractable clip if people need to badge in and out. Safety breakaways are the usual spec for public events and schools.

If the brief includes a sustainability line, look at recycled polyester lanyards. They use tape made from recycled drink bottles with the same custom print workflow. Use this standard full-colour product when the artwork needs colour on regular custom tape and the recycled claim is not part of the credential story.

Artwork, minimums and timing

Send a vector logo or a sharp file. Complimentary artwork and a proof go to your email and phone. Production on custom lanyards starts after you approve. Speak to the artwork team if type must read from both sides of the tape.

Custom minimum is 50. The live unit price sits on the pricing tab and falls as quantity rises. In-stock titles stay on their own 10-unit minimum and same-day clock - do not mix the two lead times in your head when you promise a client “next week”.

Wristbands can still be the door ticket on the same event. Full-colour lanyards are the neck credential. Order Tyvek or clip for GA, woven for VIP wrists if you want that look, and this lanyard for crew, media and staff who need a card.
