Eco wristbands and recycled merch in Australia
If the brief includes a sustainability line, do not default to a generic “green” claim. We stock specific recycled and recyclable products - YUPO event bands, GRS recycled woven wristbands and recycled polyester lanyards - and they have real minimums and lead times.
Recyclable event tickets
Eco event wristbands in YUPO are 100% recyclable polypropylene. They do the same job as a disposable festival ticket - lightweight, printable, outdoor-capable - with a cleaner end-of-life story than a band that cannot go in the recycling stream.
Use them when the event is still a ticket, not a souvenir. For paid entry you still need a tamper-evident or locking product. Ask us if the eco ticket is the right security level for your door.
Recycled woven wristbands
Eco-friendly woven wristbands are made from recycled PET and meet Global Recycled Standard (GRS) 4.0. They look and wear like a fabric festival band, which is why they suit multi-day events that want both a keepable product and a recycled-content claim you can stand behind.
Recycled lanyards
Recycled polyester lanyards are made from recycled drink bottles and take the same custom print workflow as standard tape. This is the usual swap for conferences and workplaces that already specified lanyards and then added a sustainability requirement.
In-stock title lanyards are the speed option. Recycled custom tape is the brand option. Do not mix the two stories on the same credential unless you mean to.
What “eco” does not mean here
Silicone lasts a long time, which reduces replacements, but it is not a recycled-content product. Tyvek is efficient and some grades are recyclable, yet a one-night GA band is still single-use. We will recommend the honest product instead of stretching a claim.
