Tyvek wristband prices in Australia: what changes the unit cost
Tyvek is the lowest-cost custom wristband for events because it is a single-use ticket, not a moulded souvenir. The live unit price on each product page updates as you change quantity and print. This guide explains what you are paying for before you configure an order.
Three Tyvek products, three price levels
Plain Tyvek is stock colour, no print. It is the cheapest option and the one we can usually express the same day. Use it when you only need colours for doors, days or age groups.
Black print Tyvek adds a one-colour logo or event name. You are paying for artwork setup and a print pass, not a different band material.
Full colour Tyvek is the premium Tyvek ticket: photos, gradients and detailed logos. It costs more than black print and can take longer on larger runs.
What actually moves the price
Quantity is the biggest lever. Wholesale Tyvek is priced so 500 or 1,000 bands are much cheaper each than 100. If you can consolidate colours into one design, you usually save more than splitting into lots of tiny jobs.
Print complexity is next. No print is cheapest. One-colour black is the middle. Full colour is the top of the Tyvek range, and still far below silicone or woven for the same headcount.

- Turnaround: plain can ship the same day; custom ranges from same day to about 10 days by quantity.

How to keep an event order cheap
Colour-code with plain Tyvek wherever a logo is not required. Print only the bands that need a brand, sponsor or date. Avoid last-minute reprints by approving artwork early and ordering a small buffer - leftover Tyvek is cheaper than a second rush job.
If the event lasts several days and bands will get wet or abused, compare plastic clip before you default to Tyvek. The unit price is higher, but you may need fewer replacements.

- Is shipping extra on cheap Tyvek orders?
- Standard Australian delivery is included. Same-day express is available on eligible plain Tyvek orders placed before 3pm AEST.
- Can I mix colours in one order?
- Yes. On most wristbands, changing only the band colour with the same design does not add a separate setup charge. Plain Tyvek is ordered per colour with a 100-band minimum on each colour.
