Simple yet effective, plain silicone wristbands deliver solid colour impact without printed designs. Made from soft, durable, hypoallergenic silicone with lightweight comfort and waterproof durability. Available in vibrant colour options perfect for awareness campaigns, event identification, colour-coding systems, or cost-effective promotional distribution. The simplicity speaks volumes when colour carries your message.

When plain silicone is the right order

Plain silicone wristbands are the fastest way to put a colour on every wrist without paying for print. Schools use them for houses and excursions. Venues use them for staff versus guest. Fundraisers use a single colour as the campaign itself. If the colour is the message, skip the logo.

The bands are soft, waterproof and reusable. People take them off and put them back on, which is why they work as merch and fail as a paid-entry ticket. For door control, order Tyvek or plastic clip instead and keep plain silicone for the pack, the stall or the week after the event.

This is also the cheapest silicone style because there is no artwork to proof and no print or moulded impression to produce. You are paying for a durable colour-coded band, not a decorated souvenir.

Specs

Plain silicone is a moulded rubber band in a solid stock colour. There is no surface ink and no recessed or raised logo, so the band stays a clean colour block from any distance - useful when a teacher or door supervisor is sorting people by house, team or zone.

  • Material: soft, waterproof silicone.
  • Decoration: none - colour only.
  • Reuse: slides on and off; not tamper-evident.
  • Minimum order: 50 bands.
  • Production: typically 7–10 days for 100 or more, plus transit.
  • Shipping: free across Australia on standard orders.
  • Artwork: not required on this product.

Who orders plain silicone in Australia

Primary and secondary schools run house colours, sports carnivals and excursion groups on plain silicone because the colour is the system. There is no logo committee and no proof delay. A P&F fundraiser that only needs “pink for the cause” belongs here too.

Workplaces and warehouses use one colour per role or zone. Clubs and junior sport use team colours as a cheap keepable. Festivals sometimes sell a plain colour as cheap merch next to the Tyvek gate ticket - two products, two jobs.

If you later want a slogan or school logo on the same kind of band, move to printed, debossed, embossed or ink-filled silicone. The wear and waterproofing stay the same; only the decoration changes.

Minimums, mix-and-match colours and timing

The minimum is 50 bands. That is low enough for a single house, a staff pack or a sample before a larger campaign. Runs of 100 or more typically take 7–10 days in production, then we ship Australia-wide. There is no complimentary artwork loop on plain silicone because there is nothing to draw.

You can mix colours in one order when the style stays the same. Changing only the band colour - four house colours, three team colours - usually does not add a separate setup charge. Tell us the split (for example 80 red, 80 blue, 80 green, 80 gold) and we will quote one job instead of four tiny ones.

Plain silicone is not a same-day product. If the event is inside a week and you only need a colour at the door, switch that part of the order to plain Tyvek or plain plastic clip. Keep silicone for the campaign that continues after Sunday night.

What not to use these for

Do not issue plain silicone as a paid-entry ticket. Anyone can take the band off and hand it to the next person in the queue. Tyvek tears when peeled. Plastic clip destroys if forced. Silicone is meant to come off.

Do not expect a logo to appear on this SKU. If the brief includes a crest, a URL or a multi-colour mark, you are on the wrong product page. Printed silicone carries complex colour. Ink-filled is the classic awareness slogan. Debossed and embossed are one-colour moulded marks.

How to order

Open the pricing tab, set the quantity and choose colours. The unit price drops as the run gets larger - 250 and 500 are where most school and campaign orders land. If you are unsure whether you need print, start here and upgrade the next reprint. Standard Australian freight is included.

Frequently asked questions

Can I mix silicone colours in one order?
Yes. If the style stays the same, changing only the band colour usually does not add a separate setup charge. Ask us if you need several house or team colours packed together.
What is the minimum order for plain silicone wristbands?
50 bands. Production for 100 or more is typically 7–10 days plus transit across Australia.
Are plain silicone wristbands waterproof?
Yes. They handle rain, pools and daily wear. That is why they work for carnivals and outdoor campaigns - and why they are merch, not a disposable ticket.
Can I add a logo later on the same style of band?
Yes. Move the next order to printed, debossed, embossed or ink-filled silicone. We will proof the artwork before that decorated run starts.
